Social
sciences encompasses the study of subjects leading to a
better understanding of ourselves and of the world in which
we live. Many of the programs within the Social and Behavioral
Science Division stress practical applications of this knowledge,
whether it's taking part in an archaeological dig in South
America or working with young children in the valley's elementary
schools.
