Class to visit Argentina rainforest in June 2008
Argentina’s rainforest and the hidden valleys of the Andes will be
the destination for AVC’s Tropical Biology, Biology 170, class next
June.
Zoology Professor Dr. Callyn Yorke will lead up to 15 students on a
trip through northwestern Argentina, which is home to an extensive
array of wildlife including jaguars, Andean condors and red-legged
seriemas.
The trip is scheduled for June 2-25, 2008. Yorke has led other
tropical biology classes to Costa Rica, Ecuador, Australia and East
Africa.
